Brooklyn South is a small and cozy deli and sandwich shop located just east of the burgeoning Edge District in downtown St. Petersburg. They offer delectable prepared sandwiches that are the best of their style in all of Pinellas County, if not farther. They also employ a cheesemonger and other experts to explain their meats, cheeses, and crackers that are available for sale. Their hours are limited compared to other restaurants and grocery stores, but their offerings are unequaled.

The Garden Restaurant is the most horrible location for lunch in downtown Saint Petersburg. The company I work for (not associated with this blog) picked up food from them for our regular company lunch. Every single one of my coworkers had a bad meal, and I believe my experience was the worst of them all. We order from many local places, and this was the most appalling ever in terms of food and service.
